Welcome to Holga Week!

Hello! Thank you for stopping by!

I created Holga Week to help grow and foster the community of Holga photographers across the world.  It’s my hope that everyone has a lot of fun with this, and try some new things with their Holga photography.

I love the Holga, and if you have visited my website or blog (The Holga Darkroom), you know that I am very passionate about it.  There is a huge international community of Holga lovers out there and I wanted to bring us all together to celebrate all things Holga, share lots of photos, share tips and tricks and get to know each other better.

If you would like to send me a photo of yourself with your Holga and your plans for Holga Week – I will post them on the blog here to introduce everyone!  Send them to holgaweek@gmail.com

I’m planning on using this blog for updates on Holga week, as well as sharing some of your work!  So if you submit to Holga Week, I may be contacting you to share your photo on this blog, and perhaps ask you a few questions about how you created it.

Please take a look through the site, and if you have any questions or comments, leave them in the comment box below, or email me at holgaweek@gmail.com.  This is my first time running this event, so I may have missed a few things along the line.  Feel free to send suggestions!

I also would like to ask anyone who is able, to please consider supporting the operation of this website by making a small donation.  You can find the Paypal link on the About page.  All proceeds will go to the operation/hosting costs of this website.

And last but definitely not least, I would like to give a special shout-out and huge THANK YOU to Simon for helping me get this website up and running!  Check out his website here.

Well I think that’s all I have to say for now!  We are one week away from the big day – so get your Holgas ready and see you on July 21!!

    This is a great idea.
I have some velvia and some ideas, but haven’t had the impetus to go out and shoot.
This is just the push I need.

This is a wonderful idea. Only comment is to add “Like” buttons for Facebook, etc.
