Wow! That was a great Holga Week, October 1-7, 2019. We love seeing all the photogs posting selfie pics on location with their Holga cameras. It has been a really fun week of shooting these little, plastic wonders. We hope you had a lot of fun. And we hope you shot a lot of film.
Now for the second stage of Holga Week: developing.
Our friends at Old School Photo Lab have an offer you really can’t refuse. They will develop your film for regular price and give you free basic scans for free up to five rolls. That’s a $5 savings per roll.
All you need is the special discount code.
Now, where did Poppers put it.
Oh, now we remember.
You need to post a pic of your Holga camera to Instagram or Twitter with @OldSchoolLab and @HolgaWeek with the tag #HolgaWeekDevelop. When you do that, OSPL will send you the discount code. And they might follow your account too.
Old School Photo Lab is very fast and does wonderful work. They are the only lab Mr. Holga uses outside of his own kitchen. The negatives come back all nicely sleeved and packaged. The scans are available before your negatives arrive.
It’s like Christmas morning, except from a bear.
Holga Week Deadline
The deadline for submitting your best three photos for Holga Week is Friday, November 8, 2019, at midnight. The submission form will be open later today, October 8, 2019. A few technical issues to resolve first. Stay tuned.
